Mansoor Fazil

Mansoor Fazil is the Director of Global Platform Engineering at Sky. In his role, Mansoor oversees a team of nearly 1,000 engineers across five countries, running one of the world’s largest OTT streaming platforms serving millions of customers in more than 60 markets. His team powers key brands including Peacock, NOW, WOW, Sky Go, and Sky Q, as well as joint ventures such as SkyShowtime and Showmax.

As a senior technology leader with nearly 15 years at Sky, he has played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s global streaming and video engineering capabilities. Mansoor has deep expertise in building and scaling complex platforms, leading functions spanning video authorization, data and personalization, CMS and discovery, content metadata, and global SRE and cloud infrastructure. His work has supported some of the industry’s biggest moments from NFL events that broke U.S. streaming records to global premieres like House of the Dragon and Oppenheimer.

Previously, Mansoor served as Director of Global Video Engineering & Apps, leading an 800-person organization responsible for Sky’s OTT video platforms and client applications used by more than 50 million customers worldwide.
