Lion Schulz

Lion Schulz serves as Head of Machine Learning at the Bertelsmann AI Hub, where he leads Bertelsmann's cross-divisional AI engineering, product, and research efforts. His team builds AI products that empower Bertelsmann's creative businesses through state-of-the-art tools for content understanding and generation. He also leads Bertelsmann's collaborations with Google DeepMind and Google Research, focusing on the impact of artificial intelligence on creativity and society. Lion previously completed a PhD at the intersection of neuroscience and artificial intelligence, conducting research at a Max Planck Institute and MIT.
