Lauren King

With nearly 15 years' experience in SaaS and 6 of these in AI, Lauren has been involved in both successful exits and scale up growth journeys across FinTech, Enterprise AI and now Speech Tech. She enjoys the challenges associated with taking nascent technology to market and building brands with purpose that customers love. Having joined Speechmatics in early 2023, Lauren has realised a passion for making AI accessible for as many people as possible, which aligns with the Speechmatics mission to “understand every voice”. This ties to another important focus for Lauren, which is to improve diversity within AI businesses through advocacy of women in tech and mentorship of the next wave of female leaders.
