Kim Viljanen works as a concept designer at the Finnish Broadcasting Company Yle where he develops metadata based solutions to improve the findability, visibility and engagement of the online television and radio service Yle Areena. Kim is actively participating in improving Yle's company wide metadata processes, practices and data models, in testing emerging new technologies such as artificial intelligence, automatic metadata extraction, and new products and services available on the market and in co-operation with other media companies, the research institutions and startups.
