Justin Richardson is a highly accomplished media and marketing executive with over 20 years' experience in integrated content distribution and marketing strategies working with some of the world's largest entertainment, broadcast and technology companies, including Warner Bros, Universal Pictures, Google, Sky TV and Japanese Telecom giant NTT Docomo. As the newly appointed VP Global Content Distribution & Strategy, in the London Mattel Creations office, Richardson is responsible for Mattel's global content distribution portfolio of iconic brands such as Thomas & Friends®, Barbie®, Monster High®, Hot Wheels®, American Girl®, Ever After High® with additional distribution teams in Asia, Euromea and US. Richardson started his career at News Corp. Subsidiary News International, before moving into broadcast roles, selling and scheduling advertising, sponsorship and promotions packages. In 90's Richardson joined AOL Time Warner subsidiary, Warner Bros. International, as part of the New Media Team where he managed the business development team for Europe, Middle East and Africa, working on content releases for brands including Harry Potter, Scooby Doo, Batman and Superman. Whilst at Warner Bros. International, Richardson was promoted to global lead for mobile business development, reporting into the Corporate Business and Strategy team in Burbank. Recently Richardson spent five years as SVP International at German HQ'd ‘docomo digital, a subsidiary of Japanese Telecom Giant NTT Docomo. His role here included senior leadership across international content development and distribution, including platform and applications development for media and web companies looking to offer VOD and TV services across multiple, touch screen and connected devices.
