Johann Mika

Johann Mika is Chief Innovation Officer at Big Blue Marble (formerly ORS Group), where he has worked for more than a decade. Since 2021, he has been responsible for the group-wide innovation agenda, focusing on innovation strategy, technology development, and emerging technologies. He also represents Big Blue Marble in international industry bodies and forums.
With a multidisciplinary background in technology and business and a PhD in Electrical Engineering, Johann works across areas including 5G Broadcast, private 5G networks, mission-critical communications, artificial intelligence, and next-generation media technologies. His focus is on translating emerging technologies into practical applications and sustainable business models.
