João Neto

CEO, VoiceInteraction
João Neto received his graduation, Msc and PhD in Electrotechnical and Computers Engineering by the University of Lisbon, where he teaches signal processing courses. He’s a researcher at INESC ID. In 2008 was a co-founder of VOICEINTERACTION, a startup company from INESC-ID and IST where he is the CEO. His PhD thesis was on speaker-adaptation in a context of hybrid Artificial Neural Networks and Hidden Markov Models continuous speech recognition systems. He has been working on these systems for broadcast news speech. He has participated in several European projects and published more than 70 papers on international conferences and magazines.
