Ian Wagdin

Ian has been involved in television and radio technologies for nearly 30 years. Starting in production with ITV and then the BBC he has always had a keen interest in the latest developments.
Having worked for BBC R&D where he led award winning projects that have transformed workflows he joined Appear as VP Technology and Innovation. In 2025.
Ian has been involved in several IBC accelerators since their inception and enjoys the collaborative effort in realising proof of concepts based on real world problems.
