Ian Munford

Ian manages strategic business development, working closely with customers and partners to drive innovation across the M&E portfolio. He joined AWS in 2021 following a career focused on innovation spanning every part of the TV industry from production through to delivery. His career started during the very early days of digital media launching a number of sports streaming services but prior to AWS, Ian was Director of Industry strategy at Akamai technologies and as Commercial Director at dock10, launched the UK’s leading TV studio and post-production facility. Ian also held a number of executive roles across BT’s media ventures, developing and launching several new initiatives such as Rich Media and Mosaic, both early pioneers of managing media workflows in the cloud.
