Ian Challinor

Ian Challinor is SVP Business Development at Airties, working with leading broadband operators to improve the Wi-Fi and connected-home experience for millions of households.

Ian has worked in software since 1998 and in telecoms and broadband since 2003. He has spent the last 15 years at Airties, helping build business with major European operators including BT, Deutsche Telekom, Vodafone, Bouygues Telecom, Telia and Nuuday.

Airties’ software is now deployed across 50m+ homes globally, giving operators visibility into the performance of connected devices and home networks and enabling them to optimise the customer experience at scale.

His focus is the intersection of technology and customer experience — particularly how operators can turn increasingly sophisticated broadband and Wi-Fi technology into a consistent, predictable experience inside the home as television and other services move increasingly to IP delivery.
