Herby Marchetti joined seed + speed Ventures in January 2017 and works out of its Munich office. Herby focuses on strategy, growth hacking and business development as well as investment management in startups. Prior to joining seed + speed Ventures (a company of the Maschmeyer Group), Herby has worked in a variety of different management functions at the ProSiebenSat.1 Group since 2010. In the role of a Strategy & Innovation Officer, Herby fostered corporate entrepreneurship as the owner of ProSiebenSat.1's technology innovation lab, executed early and late stage due diligences and was also a Co-Founder of the ProSiebenSat.1 Accelerator and helped to build and grow over 30 seed startup companies. As a management board member at ProSiebenSat.1 Digital he was mainly active in the areas of international business development and investment management of digital media and technology assets. Before, Herby Marchetti started his career at Holtzbrinck Digital Incubation eLab where he qualified himself for the management program at the Holtzbrinck publishing group. In this program, he was overseeing several Online classifieds platforms and gained profound digital expertise. Herby Marchetti completed his business administration degree at the University of Munich and also attended the Stanford University Graduate School of Education. He remains involved in many areas of academia, like e.g. as a founding member of the Internet Business Cluster e.V.. As a university lecturer at the Fresenius University as well as at the Steinbeis University, Herby Marchetti engages and challenges (Executive) MBA students to realize their full potential.
