Guy Bouchard is a consulant with specific expertize in broadcast signals transport, He was senior manager for New Broadcast Technologies (NBT) at CBC/Radio-Canada. He was responsible for digital delivery technologies studies and projects within CBC. During his 33 years with the CBC, Guy has worked in analog and digital television transmission and production systems, as well as satellite and terrestrial microwave communication systems. He holds a degree in telecommunications from the Université du Québec. He is a adcom member of the IEEE Broadcast Technology Society AdCom. Guy has served the broadcast industry since 1979 with a special interest in digital communications systems. He has written and delivered papers on DTV, Satellite and MPEG Transport Technology for the NAB, CCBE, IEEE, Canadian Digital Television (CDTV), and the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE).
