Born in 1972, Frederic Brochard is a graduate of the Ecole Polytechnique (1995) and the Ecole Nationale Superieure des Telecommunications (1997). He has dedicated his career to the audiovisual industry. He started in 1996 at TPS working with the system integration team of the TV channel package. From 1998 to 2000, Frederic Brochard was an international consultant for TF1: he studied satellite packages in Taiwan and Turkey. He then joined OpenTV as a sales engineer. In 2002, he became head of the engineering and maintenance department of France 2 and implemented the new News management system. Frederic Brochard participated in the creation of France 24. in 2006, as director of technology. With the creation of the French foreign Audiovisual holding company, he broadened his scope of action to RFI (December 2008) as technical director of information systems and contributed to the renewal of RFI's digital sites. Frederic Brochard joined the Canal + group at the beginning of April 2010 as technical director of the Publishing division, where he modernized a certain number of software programs by adopting agile development methods. He moved abroad in February 2014, appointed Managing Director of Canal + Nouvelle-Caledonie and launched the group's OTT offers there. It also develops partnerships with local ISPs. He returned to the public audiovisual sector in 2018 by taking the head of the technology department where he worked, in particular, to modernize, rationalize and put infrastructures and information systems in the cloud.
