François Polarczyk

François Polarczyk is Sustainability Director at Accedo, a global video solutions provider, with over 10 years of experience in the video streaming industry.

Having completed the Business Sustainability Management programme at the University of Cambridge, François focuses on turning sustainability ambitions into practical action across the streaming ecosystem. He has led research and experimentation into how application and UX design can reduce energy consumption without compromising the viewer experience, while translating consumer attitudes towards sustainability into tangible product features.

François co-led ECOFLOW, the IBC Accelerator initiative focused on understanding and reducing the environmental impact of streaming. He is now part of the Steering Group of Ecoflow X, driving practical experimentation, sustainability observability and AI-driven optimisation across the streaming value chain.
