Flávio Maurício is Chief Technology Officer and Board Member at wTVision, where he leads the company's technology strategy across engineering, software architecture, product innovation, and research & development.
With more than two decades of experience in broadcast technology and software engineering, he has built his career within wTVision, progressing through technical and leadership roles that include software development, platform engineering, project management, pre-sales, and international business management. This broad experience has given him a comprehensive understanding of both the technical and operational challenges of modern broadcast environments.
Flávio holds degrees in Computer Science and Computer Engineering and is a certified Scrum Product Owner. His expertise covers broadcast software architecture, real-time graphics, IP-based media workflows, distributed production systems, software-defined broadcasting, and scalable infrastructures for live media operations. He has also been involved in the development of immersive production technologies, real-time rendering platforms, and AI-driven solutions for media workflows.
Throughout his career, he has led multidisciplinary engineering teams and contributed to the design and delivery of complex broadcast systems for broadcasters, sports organisations, and media companies worldwide. His work focuses on creating reliable, high-performance technologies that simplify production workflows while enabling greater flexibility, scalability, and innovation across live sports, news, entertainment, and major event productions.
As CTO, Flávio continues to drive wTVision's technology vision, combining strategic leadership with hands-on expertise in the development of next-generation media solutions.
