Federico Pandolfi

Federico Maria Pandolfi graduated in Electrical Engineer (MSc) from Università degli Studi di Roma “Tor Vergata” in 2015. He spent 2015 and part of 2016 in Denmark, working first on his master thesis at DTU (Danmarks Tekniske Universitet) for five months and, right after, as a System-on-Chip (SoC) ASIC designer in the smart home automation and Internet-of-Things (IoT) fields. From 2016 to 2018 he worked in Rai Teche for the EU project "Città Educante". Within this timeframe he contributed to the realization of a visual search framework, which won the 2018 FIAT/IFTA world conference award "Excellence in Media Management". Since 2018, he is currently working for Rai CRITS as R&D technician. His main fields of interest are Fixed and Mobile Networks and Full-IP systems and, in particular, DVB standards for IP-based delivery systems (DVB-I, DVB-HB, DVB-NIP, DVB-5G) and distribution of video signals over 5G and Wi-Fi Networks. He is also author of technical publications and presentations at international conferences.
