Diego Gibellino

Diego oversees the video technologies and TV laboratories, as well as multimedia analytics engineering activities at TIM. He has spearheaded key transformative programs in TIM, including the design and deployment of innovative media platforms and digital solutions for video communication, public safety over 4G and 5G, direct-to-consumer streaming, 5G media, and content delivery.
He is also contributing to major standardisation bodies and fora activities, serving as Head of Delegation of the Italian National Body UNI/UNINFO in ISO/IEC JTC1 SC29 (MPEG, JPEG), Steering Board member in DVB, and representing TIM in 3GPP SA4 and UHD Forum Italia.
