Deepali Narsiker is a seasoned Streaming Media strategist with over two decades of experience in the Technology, Media and Telco sector. She has made a significant impact through her expertise in content, distribution strategy, search and recommendation including enhancing user experiences all of which have been key drivers of growth for various OTT platforms globally.
She played a crucial role in launching Asia's first premium OTT service HOOQ, a joint venture between industry leaders SingTel Telecommunications, Warner Bros., and Sony Pictures marking a significant milestone in the APAC VOD industry. Her contributions to HOOQ showcased her ability to build successful global partnerships and drive revenue growth through innovative and effective strategies while adapting to the fast-paced nature of the industry. Known for her collaborative, data-driven and results-oriented approach, Deepali works closely with streaming media players to develop strategies to deliver real, measurable results in this rapidly evolving space.
Deepali’s commitment to the industry goes beyond her professional achievements, she is deeply invested in advancing technology while empowering women in the media technology field. As the Head of Allyship at Women in Streaming Media, she spearheaded the Global Allyship program in 2024, establishing a global network of Allies and facilitating crucial conversations. Her efforts align closely with WSM’s mission to enhance visibility and leadership opportunities for women in streaming media, believing that diversity and inclusion drive industry innovation and success. The allyship program is designed to foster meaningful change by leveraging privilege awareness in daily actions, it aims to encourage male leaders in the streaming media industry to actively support gender diversity and equity. In every aspect of her work, she is guided by a commitment to collaboration, pragmatic innovation, and a strong belief in the power of diversity to drive progress. Deepali holds a Master's degree in Computer Science and is a Google Women Techmakers Ambassador. I am a member of Women in Streaming Media to empower diversity within the streaming media industry
