David Travis

Dave Travis is Group Director of Content, Broadcast & Platforms at Sky, leading the product and technology teams responsible for production, news, origination, content supply chain, and distribution across Sky Sports, Sky News, NOW, Sky Content, Sky Media, and Sky Creative. He oversees strategy, design, delivery, and operations across both on-premises and cloud platforms serving Sky’s businesses in the UK, Germany, and Italy.
With more than 20 years of experience in broadcast technology and media, Dave has held board-level leadership roles and is recognised for combining strong technical expertise with commercial acumen. He is passionate about building scalable platforms and high-performing organisations that drive consistency, efficiency, and innovation.
Prior to Sky, Dave was Chief Product & Technology Officer at Red Bee Media, supporting over 80 broadcasters and media organisations across Europe.
