David O'Carroll is the Founder and Managing Director of Aurora Media Worldwide, an international broadcast systems integration and media technology consultancy delivering innovative solutions for broadcasters, media organisations and content creators. With more than 30 years of experience in the broadcast and media technology industry, David has led the design and implementation of complex production, playout and distribution infrastructures across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Throughout his career, he has been at the forefront of industry transitions, from analogue to digital, SDI to IP, and now the shift toward software-defined and cloud-enabled production environments. Passionate about helping broadcasters embrace innovation while maintaining operational resilience, David advises organisations on technology strategy, workflow transformation and future-ready broadcast architectures.
