Colleen Geske

Colleen Geske is Head of International Communications at Economic Affairs, City of Amsterdam. Colleen has worked with the City of Amsterdam for nearly two decades in roles focused on international city branding, strategic communications, and global network development. Her work has helped strengthen Amsterdam’s international reputation and position the city as a leading hub for business, investment, innovation, and place-making. She has led international strategy and policy initiatives while building strong cross-border networks in economic development and place-making. Alongside her work in government, Colleen is a best-selling author, humorist, and passionate observer of Dutch culture. Her first book, Stuff Dutch People Like, was published in 2013, followed by seven additional titles in the series.
