Chris Sherrington

During a career spanning 25 years Chris has founded and curated festivals, music venues, clubnights and exhibitions and promoted gigs and delivered events across the North of England. 

His background in process mapping and training delivery, alongside an understanding of the challenges faced by venue operators has helped in his Policy & Strategy Support role at Music Venue Trust, a charity formed 10 years ago which acts to protect, secure and improve Grassroots Music Venues across the UK. In the last 12 months he has worked on various projects including Pipeline Investment Fund, GMV Training and Collective purchasing whilst also researching and authoring policy representations to the UK Government and is championing the needs and challenges faced by Grassroots Music Venues.
