Chris Gregory
Chris Gregory is the Head of Content Development for Samsung TV Plus EMEA, one of the world’s largest streaming services – available in 30 territories with more than 100 million monthly users worldwide. With over 20 years of experience in digital media, streaming and licensing product management, Chris has been spearheading the company’s strategic content development since joining in 2019.
His current role sees him leading and driving alignment across the content and licensing teams to grow and expand the service across EMEA; launching the very best channels that resonate with local and global audiences such as Keeping Up With…, Stromberg, Rai News, Sony One Action HITS, Al Jazeera and Location, Location, Location.
His strategic knowledge and expertise – particularly in engaging with partners such as ITV Studios, BBC Studios, FIFA, Banijay Rights, Sky and Sony – enables him to broker game-changing deals across the entertainment, creator and live sports sectors. He plays a key role in identifying profitable new content streams across Live, PSB and creator led content, helping position Samsung TV Plus as a leading streaming service in EMEA.
Prior to joining Samsung TV Plus, Chris was Commercial Manager at Reuters and a Partner Manager at DAZN Media, where he worked across content licensing and advertising solutions across web, mobile, app and CTV.
