Carlos Cosme

Carlos Eduardo Cosme Ribeiro holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Estácio de Sá University (2007), a master’s degree in Control and Automation Engineering from Gama Filho University (2011), and a specialization in Computer Networks from PUC Rio (2013). He has worked at Globo since 1998, where he has held positions in operations and support. He is currently an innovation specialist in the Telecom group of the Infrastructure and Telecom Hub. He is a member of the Brazilian Digital Terrestrial TV System Forum (SBTVD), where he coordinates the Audio Coding, Video Coding, Subtitling, and TVRO 3.0 working groups for the TV 3.0 Project. At Globo, he focuses on hypermedia technologies to enhance the viewing experience for audiences who consume Globo’s products.
