Borika Vucinic
As Vice-President, Network & Technology Services, Borika Vucinic oversee development, engineering, support and operations for Bell Media content platforms, from production of content to making the content available for consumption on TV, Radio and digital platforms. In addition, her team leads development and support of marketing and monetization solutions, cost optimization initiatives, and service availability for all Bell Media platforms. With more than 25-years’ experience with the Network team, Vucinic has earned a reputation as an innovator and team builder. Formerly Director, TV and Radio Engineering, she was instrumental in leading Bell’s mobile HSPA+ network launch in 2009, building a top-performing Bell TV Network team, and delivering infrastructure advances to support the Fibe TV app and Satellite TV video on demand. With focus on Digital Transformation Borika enabled technology, process and people transformation in Media, paving a way for innovation, new services and agile teams. Vucinic was recognized as a pioneer and a voice for women in communications and technology with the 2015 Women in Communication and Technology (WCT), Technology Innovator Award and Women of the Year award in 2021 by Rise, global advocacy organization supporting gender diversity in the media technology sector. Vucinic holds an MBA from Herriot Watt University and a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Belgrade University. A resident of Toronto, Vucinic continues as leader and mentor to her staff, a dedicated wife and mother to her thirteen-year-old son.
