Bert Van der Linden

Bert Van der Linden is Director Product Management at ST Engineering iDirect. In this role, Van der Linden leads the Product strategy for virtualization and digitization of iDirect’s Intuition ground system. As part of his role he provides valuable insight into the virtualization solutions and a look-ahead to the future of the satcom market and how the company's advanced networking ground system will play a significant role in its evolution.
Prior to joining ST Engineering iDirect, Bert was a long time Product Manager at Cisco, where he was responsible for developing go-to-market strategies, product development, and service delivery for Cloud SaaS solutions for Video Processing technologies, Software, Gateway control and CPE equipment. During his time at Cisco and Siemens before that he also had extensive experience in system solutions in Telecoms.
He holds Master degrees in Telecommunications from Siemens’ Masters program in Munich and a Masters in Industrial Electronic Engineering from KaHo Sint Lieven.
