Bart Kroon

Bart Kroon was born in Leidschendam, Netherlands in 1979. He received the M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Delft University of Technology in 2005. He is a Senior Scientist with Philips IP&S, specialized in autostereoscopic display optics and rendering, and video processing for virtual and mixed reality. In that role he is active as the project leader and editor of ISO/IEC 23090-12 MPEG immersive video (MIV), software coordinator of the test model for that standard, and editor of 23090-5 Video-based visual volumetric coding (V3C), and 23090-23 MIV conformance and reference software.
