Actor and climate campaigner

Will Attenborough is an actor and climate campaigner. Born in London, his career began with a leading role in Another Country on the West End. He’s since starred opposite Nicole Kidman on stage in Photograph 51, and featured in major motion pictures such as The Outpost, Denial with Rachel Weisz and the Oscar-winning Dunkirk.He's also known for his regular roles on ITV’s Home Fires, and BBC One's Our Girl. Will won the London GrandSlam of international storytelling competition The Moth in 2018, and has been a regular host ever since.  

As a campaigner, Will first worked with Fossil Free UK and secured Mayor of London Sadiq Khan's commitment to divest City Hall's £5bn pension fund of fossil fuel stocks. As Chair of Equity for a Green New Deal, he’s led the union’s pension investments out of fossil fuels and into climate solutions, while convening broadcasters and decisionmakers in the screen industry to decarbonise the sector. He currently works with Coal Action Network to challenge the insurance industry over its involvement with fossil fuel expansion.
