Ashley Ross
Ashley joined Sky in 2007 and has since held several leadership positions, leading cross-functional teams, driving adoption of new technologies, and delivering transformative operational improvements. He has helped shape industry standards — contributing to the DPP's QC guidelines and tech specs, EBU groups, and leading Sky to become the first UK broadcaster to mandate R128 loudness. He later ran Sky's UHD and HDR operations, authoring one of the industry's first UHD/HDR technical specifications and delivering the world's first pre-recorded Dolby Atmos broadcast.
Now the Principal Product Manager of Sky's Content Supply Chain platform, MediaMesh, he has taken it from an internal initiative to an IBC Innovation Award winner. He shapes product strategy across Sky's content platforms, working closely with leadership from production to distribution, and is a regular contributor to industry forums.
