Amy DeLouise

Amy DeLouise is a short form digital storyteller with more than 400 productions to her credit. From her early days as an art department plebe on “Forrest Gump” to directing non-fiction shorts for 50,000-person live experiences, Amy has leveraged her storytelling talents across digital platforms and live events. A LinkedIn Learning author with more than 100K learners following her courses in media production, Amy is also the author of two books on filmmaking with Routledge Press used by industry pros and university courses.
An advocate for women in media/tech, Amy founded #GALSNGEAR, a 2,000-member global community of women in technical fields across media, broadcast and entertainment. She hosts the Tequity Talk podcast, and has received the IAMT Mentoring Award and a Woman of Vision Leadership Award from Women in Film and Video. Amy holds a B.A. in English from Yale University. For fun, she lifts heavy weights at the gym, and plays violin as the concertmaster of the 80-member US National Institutes of Health Philharmonia.
