Allan McLennan is an accomplished media & entertainment Technology and creative business executive and currently is the president of the twenty-nine year global localization and distribution post production studio in Burbank, CA - 2G Digital Optimization. Allan has been recognized as one of the world’s most recognized voices in the advancement of IP media technology (web/broadband/mobile) based content via television, OTT/VOD, video streaming, theatrical presentation and AI/ML engagement through connected devices. This focus has enabled him to contribute to and work with extraordinary companies, inventors, scientists, technologists, accomplished executives and high performing companies such as Ericsson; Siemens; Deluxe; Microsoft; Spielberg; APPLE and Disney where he actively participates in the advancement of services in content creation, data analytics, content security & provisioning, advanced advertising (ACR, RTB, Programmatic APIs) and the overall revision of the entertainment/media multi-platform video consumption models being explored today. He has participated in the creation/innovation, packaged and/or sold multiple new offerings throughout the world in 17 countries with close to four billion households as both a corporate executive, producer and innovator involving IP/digital media distribution and audience engagement. Prior to 2G he was the Head of M&E of NA with the French based Atos/Eviden, Founder/Chairman of PADEM Media Group, founding AMI divisional president of the US publicly traded entertainment data analytics corporation – RENTRAK (NASDAQ: RENT), serving 100% of the studio and network marketplace. His industry memberships and contributions are with the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (EMMY’s); Producers Guild of America (PGA); Society of Motion Pictures Television Engineers (SMPTE); Executive Media Board Director for IET/London (Institute of Engineering & Technology); Board Trustee for CEI (Center of Educational Innovation - NYC); Advisory Board for RightsTrade/LA (film/television licensing marketplace acquired by Cinelytic). He holds an MBA International Strategy (team/behavioral economics); global speaker on media ecology and has had recognition as a #4 WSJ best selling author, Emmy acknowledged TV series co-producer and Stanford University graduate business school quest lecturer.
