Adrian Sommer is the Lead Data & AI Solution Strategist at Schwarz Digits, the cloud provider for the Schwarz Group. He steers strategic data and AI engagements, with a focus on how large enterprises can use emerging technologies to create lasting competitive advantage, specifically in the retail and media industries.
His work combines business strategy with technical expertise, particularly in AI infrastructure. Adrian focuses on the strategic questions behind major technology investments: where data and AI can materially change a business, which capabilities will matter over time, and how organisations can build for scale rather than short-term experimentation.
Before joining Schwarz Digits, Adrian worked in consulting across Europe and North America, including advising the Canadian public sector on AI strategy. A committed European, he believes in strengthening Europe’s technological sovereignty while deepening European-Canadian ties in technology, business, and innovation.
