Adam Hewes
Adam is a broadcast technologist with over 21 years' experience spanning solutions architecture, engineering leadership and technology strategy across some of the UK's best-known media organisations. He has held senior contract roles including Solution Architect at Redbee Media (delivering for NPO), Head of Technology at OTRO Global and CTO at Take 1 Script Services, where he led the Verb8tm acquisition migration and a technology team of 12+. Most recently, as Lead Solutions Architect at Channel 4, Adam was part of the Zeus programme, a major platform modernisation initiative moving the broadcaster from legacy systems to a composable architecture, where he led the architecture side of the work. He now works as Lead Engineer at ITV.
Alongside his contract roles, Adam runs AMH Media Limited, a fractional CTO and consulting practice supporting broadcasters and media businesses with technology strategy and AI-native systems design. He is a committed mentor and advocate within the industry, supporting women in broadcasting through the Rise mentoring programme, and has been part of the Rise Academy for the past three years. He also volunteers with the Media Talent Manifesto's On Air initiative. Adam is particularly focused on the intersection of broadcast platform modernisation and AI, and is building a portfolio career that combines fractional CTO work with a longer-term interest in Non-Executive Director roles.
