As the industry returns to RAI for the first in-person IBC since 2019, the IET Media Technology Network will be bringing their “John Logie Baird Lecture” series to the show. The JLB Lecture has run for many years at the IET HQ at Savoy Place and is a chance to reflect on the state of the TV and Broadcast industry and to look ahead. This year, they will run it as three sessions, looking at the Business of TV, the Technology of Video and the Technology of Audio. The sessions are directed at technology professionals, product developers and strategists working on TV, video and Audio and will take place in room E102.
David Short, Chair of the IET Media Technology Network comments “It is a pleasure to return to in-person meetings at IBC and we are especially pleased to bring our famous John Logie Baird Lecture to the show. The industry has changed in many ways during Covid and we have asked some of the most insightful people in the sector for their views on what we should expect for the next five years”.
