Phil presents a case study from the worlds first uncompressed UHD IP remote production trial during the 2017 UEFA European Under-21 Championship finals held in Poland, June 2017. During the game, the IP system delivered live camera signals from the Marshal Józef Pi?sudski Stadium in Krakow, Poland to BT Sport's facility at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London for live edit and play-out. The deployment was based around the draft SMPTE ST 2110 standard whilst also providing SMPTE ST 2022-7 level redundancy using 100G COTS network switches and an SMPTE ST 2059 timing solution.
