BENEFITS OF IP

Native IP not only means less cables, multi-signal capabilities and faster connections but it's also able to become the basis for a new kind of live production network featuring virtualised media processing functions. This presentation explains how by employing an app-based live production network, users benefit from only needing to install the functions that are required on specific productions. By using a community of developers, each with the ability to create apps on demand, software-based functionality can be introduced to the platform's app store and easily installed into the network as and when its functionality is needed by the content producer. This kind of functionality is only possible through native-IP virtualisation.
