Panel: Security, Authenticity and Provenance: How can we trust the content we have now and in the future?

13 Sept 2026
Conference Room 1
IBC Conference

Security, authenticity, and provenance are becoming essential pillars for the future of broadcast media. In a world where digital content can be created, altered, and distributed in seconds, trust has never been more valuable - or more fragile. From AI-generated media to misinformation and deepfakes, the question is no longer just what we see online, but whether it’s real. Authenticity and provenance can no longer be assumed, they must be proven. This session will explore strategies to ensure that content is protected from manipulation, verified at its source, and traceable throughout its lifecycle.
