From vision to reality: In 2025, EBU Members have jointly defined a “Shared Cloud Ecosystem for European Public Service Media” – complete with a common vision, a strategy, and now the results of a comprehensive feasibility study which will (the first time) be presented to the IBC audience. The foundations are in place. The session will then address the real challenges on how to turn the shared ambition of an European Cloud Media Ecosystem into a concrete, operational cloud environment that serves all European public service media? This panel will then explore the practical steps, governance, technology and collaboration models needed to move from paper to practice – and what it will take to make a shared cloud ecosystem truly work at scale for the European Media Sector (and beyond).
