Amazon MGM Studios demonstrated this transformation through a cloud-based multi-camera control room at their Culver City campus, successfully managing 40+ live video and audio streams from Last One Laughing (LOL) Denmark, 9000 kilometers away. The demonstration included remote camera control, multiview of all 40+ cameras, live camera switching, instant record and playback from unlimited storage, audio mixing, Al camera tracking, Al smile detection and editing with transcription - all on a giant 8k screen at the Culver Theater. This advancement promises more efficient productions overall, reduced crew, equipment, and transportation costs, and improved sustainability.
