Senior technical members from the motion picture community will discuss current practices and challenges in digital preservation and managing digital archives. The session will explore best practices, emerging technologies, and their impacts. The panel will be moderated by Academy member, Leon Silverman, who will also provide an overview of the Academy Digital Preservation Forum’s mission, current online articles, and ways for the filmmaking community to participate in ongoing discussions.
