While live sport is a commercial driver for many OTT services, handling peak traffic remains a significant challenge. The current ecosystem is built around content providers at one end, operators at the other with content delivery networks (CDNs) in the middle: yet there is little or no coordination.

The CDN Alliance will introduce its initiative to reboot this ‘ecosystem challenge” while Gcore will share how it elevated a sports broadcaster’s streaming experience enhancing engagement and quality. Agile Content will outline how it helps secure the CDN delivery infrastructure to prevent piracy and protect the revenues and reputations of content providers and ISPs.
