It may seem that we have had an explosion of hype in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning over the last year, but this is the culmination of many years of hard-fought research, innovation, development and now operational execution. The hype however has gone off the scale with regard to the approach to applications in this area, through the exposure and usage of available pre-trained models, and the availability of suitable compute power.
