IBC is planning to bring the content and technology industry together again with the first in a new era of inclusive, hybrid events. We’re creating a fresh experience that will deliver more opportunities to discover the future of media and drive sales.
A live IBC event is planned for The RAI in Amsterdam on September 10-13th, with a fall-back of December 3rd-6th, if that is the safest and most valuable option.
IBC is inviting input from the whole IBC visitor community, and we would be very grateful for your views.
If we’re asking for your opinion, we wanted you to have information on what the Show experience will be like this year. We know that IBC2021 is likely to be the first large event that many people attend for some time. We’ve been working hard, alongside The RAI and City of Amsterdam, to plan an event that enables the industry to connect safely.
Gaining access to IBC2021 will feel similar to attending a large scale sporting event like the Olympics or an arena rock concert. At such major events, there is a perimeter around the venue at which attendees pass through security, bag checks, and ID/ticket validation. IBC2021 will use a similar approach with a purpose-built perimeter around The RAI, with multiple entry points where attendees will be processed under COVID health and safety protocol.
This means that once you are within the perimeter, you will be free to move around The RAI, inside and out, without further physical checks - avoiding having to be screened every time you go in and out of buildings and minimising queues and congestion.
You’ll find much more information in the IBC Experience handbook below. Thank you for your time in completing the survey below. It should only take a couple of minutes and will be invaluable input to our planning for IBC2021.
