pheonixITV has developed an intuitive and highly automated campaign management system, ITV Phoenix, that meets the growing needs of its marketing and creative teams.  

ITV makes more than 1,000 marketing assets every month for on-air (broadcast) and off-air (digital, social, print and outdoor).

ITV developed the system after it was unable to identify a single vendor solution that met its key requirements: resilient automation for on-air; flexibility for off-air; and an intuitive user interface.

The system blends multiple best in class software and service providers and is deployed as an automated hybrid cloud solution.

It was developed in collaboration with a number of technology partners including NMR, Cantemo, Vidispine, Codemill, 100 Shapes and Pixel Power.

By simplifying and automating complex production processes, it is enabling teams to focus on what they do best - creative ideation and production.

ITV is an integrated producer broadcaster that creates, owns and distributes high-quality content on multiple platforms. ITV operates the largest commercial family of channels in the UK and delivers content through traditional television broadcasting as well as on demand via the ITV Hub.

LUV - Laboratoire d'univers virtuels

LUVLUV – Laboratoire d’univers virtuels – is a fresh approach to virtual studios, developed by not-for-profit broadcaster and content creator Groupe Média TFO. It uses the power of the Unreal gaming engine from Epic Games in an innovative development by Zero Density to create an infinite variety of virtual worlds at the click of a mouse.

The designs, which can include sophisticated objects like fire and water, are traded online for a tiny fraction of the cost of physical sets. The realtime power of the system means complex scenes can be shot as live with no need for post-production.

The result is a huge increase in audience engagement, giving the organisation reach far beyond its native Ontario into every part of the French-speaking world. LUV is a ground-breaking original project, delivering unconstrained creativity while continuing to work within a constrained public-service budget.

Singapore-based Mediacorp has put its newly built broadcasting and media centre for digital, TV, radio and print into operation.

With the building of the 79,500 m2 campus, Mediacorp not only provided a new base for more than 2,500 staff, it also innovated the future working environment of Singapore’s national broadcaster – to better meet consumers’ changing viewing behaviour.

Mediacorp has torn down silos and established closer interoperability across its production and distribution facilities to accelerate and simplify operational workflows. Despite having versatile technology standards from many manufacturers, a Service Orientated Architecture (SOA), automated end-to-end file-based workflows as well as a deep integrated enterprise orchestration layer now ensure seamless processing of the different business units via a common platform.

In just 4 years, Mediacorp and Qvest Media, a leading systems architect and ICT integrator for broadcasting and media technology, have realised the overall planning of the new systems architecture, the tendering to identify the best performing solutions available on the market as well as the entire integration, training and commissioning of the broadcast infrastructure.
