Artificial intelligence and machine learning – terms that are often used interchangeably, but have different meanings – are being deployed to increase efficiency and automate processes as diverse as remote sports production, content analysis, sentiment detection, clip curation, compliance monitoring and recommendation engines.

This session will explain what artificial intelligence and machine learning are, how they can be used to automate processes throughout the media and entertainment value chain as well as drive engagement and create new monetisation opportunities. The session will also identify how “human-like learning” could still be a more appropriate approach for some use-cases.
