The precision with which we can now capture, deliver and convey a sense of reality, is truly remarkable. In this session we will hear from the technological pioneers of this field as we learn about: an 8K HDR/WCG three sensor camera system, the colour performance trade-offs between single and triple sensor cameras as well as how to deliver the enormous bit-rates produced in UHD production, across hostile environments.

Papers in order of presentation:

Tsuyoshi Sakiyama, Engineer, NHK, Japan, "A NEWLY-DEVELOPED 8K/HLG BROADCASTING CAMERA SYSTEM WITH THREE CMOS IMAGE SENSORS"

Per Bohler, Consultant, Norwegian Broadcasting Corp. Norway, "SINGLE SENSOR VIDEO CAMERAS AND THE TLCI-2012"

Jun Tsumochi, Research Engineer, NHK, Japan, "WIRELESS LINKS FOR 8K SUPER HI-VISION PROGRAM PRODUCTION"

Join us from 08:00 before the session starts for a complimentary breakfast and refreshments.
